I had a lot of fun styling this Meow Cat tee from Skip N' Whistle, mainly because for one, I'm secretly a cat lady and two, I thought it was an adorable shirt, meowza! ;) I decided to pair it with some accessories that were more on the fancy-side -- a white crystal necklace, crossbody studded purse, and sky high platform sandal heels.  To contrast, I paired the shirt with some comfy grungy denim shorts.

Oh and don't mind my attempt at interpreting my Meow tee, thought that's what cats do :P.  If you haven't yet, check out Skip N' Whistle's collection of tees, eyeing this one right now, they're all too cute!

I can't believe September is already here..time flew by way too fast. But happy to say this is my Birthday month! :)  This year I'm turning 23. I still remember starting this blog back when I was 20! It really has been an amazing ride with everyone and everything in between since then, so grateful and happy for all that has happened with you guys! Also, an exciting part of the year is finally here too, NYFW!  I'm crossing my fingers for the next NYFW I'll be able to make it.  Until then, I'll be seeing everyone's instagram and twitter posts covering the fun week. Vidal Sassoon x Chictopia: "Show Your Genius" - Look 1: Sleek Chic

I'm so excited to share with you lovelies my first beauty-meets-fashion post on Inspirafashion!  

I recently was asked by Vidal Sassoon x Chictopia to participate in their campaign called "Show Your Genius."  Here, I was able to show my creative side with unique hair style creations using Vidal Sassoon products.

I've always loved creating different hair styles especially when I had longer hair, but now having shorter hair, it was a fun and new experience creating different hair styles.

I decided it'd be fun to show a bit variety by creating two different hair style looks -- one as a casual daytime look and the other for night or going out.  Hope you liked the first part of this series!

First up, "Sleek Chic and 'Faux' Side-Swept" Look

I decided to use these three products from Vidal Sassoon's Pro Series:

1) VS Moisture Lock Shampoo

2) VS Moisture Lock Conditioner

3) VS Mega Firm Hold Gel

After washing my hair with Vidal Sassoon's Moisture Lock shampoo and conditioner, my hair felt super soft, and fresh and clean.  After, I did a quick blow dry using a round brush. I usually have blunt straight across bangs, so I thought it'd be hard to have "faux" side-swept bangs.  But with the help of Vidal Sassoon's Mega Firm Hold Gel, they were manageable and held my bangs to the side after applying the product and sweeping the bangs to the side with a small tooth comb.  Not to mention, the product smells SO GOOD.  I think I'd compare it to sweet candy or a mix of floral scents.

With this Casual straight hair style, I decided to keep it simple and style a pretty floral printed blouse from Crossroads Trading with high-waisted jeans, along with all white accessories: rhinestone necklace, Chanel purse, and sleek pointy white heels.

For Spring, in particular, I'm loving pastels (I know very cliche) but that and floral patterns just scream this pretty season for fashion.  I decided to accessorize with white and gold tones.  This pale yellow lace dress from LuLu*s is such a beauty, I love how it has this cool sporty racer back too.  Decided to wear out my fave new Zara sandal heels.
I had the pleasure of shooting again with my fave Ryan Chua, was such a pretty day in Golden Gate Park.  I can't wait for more sun to soak up!  Hope you lovelies had a great weekend!

Btw lovelies, excited to share that I will be going to Coachella this year!!!  I can't wait to share with you my desert adventure..which brings me to exciting news. I decided it'd be a fun post to give inspiration of what to wear for Valentine's Day coming up -- this is part one, this version I'd call darker and sexier rather than sweet and dainty (which will be part two of this series).  Leave it to GUESS to make the perfect blend of classy, sexy and chic in this dress with the peplum and paisley pattern.  Not only is it sheer in front but all on the back.  I decided to pair it with colorful accessories: white rhinestones w/ the pretty bib GUESS necklace.  This pretty JewelMint coral stone bracelet was the perfect pop of color, along with my Calvin Klein heels.  View this outfit also on my Chictopia account here.

Cannot believe it's already February!  Where did time fly again?!  Hope you lovelies have an amazing month ahead.  This past month was a very eventful one starting off the new year, helped to co-host a Chictopia shopping party in SF, modeled/styled Alyssa Nicole's Spring '13 collection, had my first time for high tea at the Rotunda, and among other things on my instagram.

Ombre edge.

I've been meaning to share some of my DIY stud projects and finally here's one of them!  Oddly enough this only took me about 20 minutes to complete..definitely felt like this jacket needed some more interest, so thought, why not add silver studs?

Decided to play off the silver studs, with jewelry, arm candy complete.  This ombre Style Stalker dress is completely amazing -- I scored it for an amazing price at Loehmann's in SF.  I love the sheer panel detail in the middle.  One thing I think I'll be very obsessed with this summer is ombre, can't get enough..aand tie-dye as well, have you seen Isabel Marant's tie-dye jeans? gah, I die.

Lastly, I thought I'd take out my Zara wedges from the closet for once..these beauties are still my all-time favorite wedges, so glad I scored and found them last summer!
