Chevron.

Brown Karen Walker Super Duper Strength sunglasses, Red HM top, Silver accessories: HM necklace, Pyramid stud bracelet via T.J.Maxx, Vintage watch, leather tie bracelet c/o Maya Brenner, Turquoise ring c/o Mimi Boutique, Brown thrifted Bebe skirt via Crossroads Trading, Black clutch c/o Lancaster Paris, Brown Zara heels.

I saw this high-waisted skirt while thrifting and reminded me so much of Missoni with the cool chevron pattern.  I love finding unique and interesting pieces whenever out at vintage or thrift stores. Decided to accessorize with all silver and a pop of color with this gorgeous turquoise ring from Mimi Boutique.

I'm leaning more towards pencil skirts now that I'm working in a corporate office.  It's always a new feeling to dress for both work and on days I'm off -- this is kind of a hybrid outfit I guess ;P.  Just getting used to all different lengths and not wearing sheer etc. in that environment -- one day though hope to mix work and play in dressing up everyday!  (:crossing fingers: when I work at a fashion magazine in NYC?) ;).

How're you lovelies doing?? Apologies for hiatus, last weekend was my bday weekend!  Can't believe I'm 22 now, time seriously flies.  September also marks the 2nd year of Inspirafashion's bday!  I'm just really happy to say that I've had the most rewarding and amazing experience running this blog and having this journey with you Lovelies! And happy to say, I've met so many inspiring people along the way these past 2 years, including now really great friends in the blogosphere and in-person.  Big thank you and bear-hugs out to you all xoxo.

Ombre edge.

Ivory DIY Studded Guess leather jacket (cool leather jackets here and here), Light blue Style Stalker ombre dress, Bracelets: friendship wrap bracelet via TINNLILY, Silver leather tie bracelet c/o Maya Brenner, vintage watch; Black vintage Dooney & Bourke satchel, Tan Zara wedges.

I've been meaning to share some of my DIY stud projects and finally here's one of them!  Oddly enough this only took me about 20 minutes to complete..definitely felt like this jacket needed some more interest, so thought, why not add silver studs?
Decided to play off the silver studs, with jewelry, arm candy complete.  This ombre Style Stalker dress is completely amazing -- I scored it for an amazing price at Loehmann's in SF.  I love the sheer panel detail in the middle.  One thing I think I'll be very obsessed with this summer is ombre, can't get enough..aand tie-dye as well, have you seen Isabel Marant's tie-dye jeans? gah, I die.
Lastly, I thought I'd take out my Zara wedges from the closet for once..these beauties are still my all-time favorite wedges, so glad I scored and found them last summer!

Floral edge.

Black/silver c/o LYLIF Clothing curb chain necklace, Grey basic tee, Bracelets: silver vintage, ivory F21, silver c/o Maya Brenner leather tie bracelet, Black purse c/o Chictopia via Mimi Boutique, Floral HM trousers, Black Zara heels.

It seems like it's been a while since I've worn very dark colors, decided to create this edgy look with these oh so beautiful trousers I got from HM.  The black accents: Mimi Boutique bag (closest thing I can afford before I get the real Celine :p) and Zara heels.  I felt perfect addition to this edgy outfit would be the LYLIF chain necklace.  If you haven't checked out LYLIF yet, they have a great collection of trendy jewelry for this spring!

Half way to the weekend!!! This week few exciting things happened, picked up my cap & gown (cannot believe it's less than a month away!), the sun finally returned in Berk (no more thunder storms! ;p), and past weekend, I got to hang out & share laughs w/ the lovely Nat from La Vagabond Dame for brunch.  So thought I'd share a few of my instagram posts to sum up everything above ;P.
Have a lovely rest of your week Beautifuls!

Minty fresh.

Light pink HM blazer, Mint ASOS double collar top, Lilac c/o Nectar Clothing jean shorts (DIY studs), Ivory vintage Chanel purse, Silver c/o LYLIF claw ring, Silver F21 and Crossroads rings, Silver c/o Maya Brenner leather tie bracelet, Vintage watch, Tan Steve Madden Grettta heels.

As you can probably tell, I have a case of pastel craze!  I love mixing unique colors together, it's like painting -- but with clothes! ;)  Mint, lilac, blush -- all very fave colors for this Spring.  The ASOS double collar top is my all-time fave -- reminds me so much of Louis Vuitton S/S '12 collection.  Lilac jean shorts from Nectar Clothing are such a great candy color, thought it'd be so cool to stud them just a touch with silver ones :).  Yay for DIYs!  And the absolutely aamazing silver claw ring from LYLIF adds that extra contrast of edginess to this sweet outfit.  Definitely rec to check out more amazing trendy jewelry from LYLIF!

How have you lovelies been?! I wanna apologize for the lack of posts last week, omg the weather here in the Bay Area has been insane.  Taking photos outside has been delayed mainly due to the rain.  But I am very happy the sun has come back!  Also, work and school has been quite hectic!  I cannot believe my eyes that there's just about one more month left of being a student at Cal.  It hasn't really hit me yet that I'm leaving this beautiful inspiring campus..but I know it will soon.  My ultimate plan is my very last day to go up Campanile..and just scream of happiness I'm done. OK, maybe not that extreme but I'll prob just quietly stare out into the sunset, contemplating of what exciting things lie ahead, symbolic ;).

Have a lovely week ahead Beautifuls!!  Keep inspiring!

Silver sweets.

Ivory Forever 21 cropped sweater, Silver HM necklace, Light purple Urban Outfitters sheer maxi skirt, Silver c/o Maya Brenner Designs leather tie bracelet, Silver HM bracelet, Brown vintage Coach purse, Black Dolce Vita Jamison boots.

I love how accessories can really make an outfit stand out or give it an interesting edgy twist.  I decided to adorn the light colors of this outfit with silver beauties: 1) being my fave HM necklace (reminiscent of the sun ;p), 2) HM silver bracelet with this gorgeous 3 strand leather tie bracelet beautifully designed by Maya Brenner.  Definitely check out her other aamazing jewelry designs, some that I admire are the California necklace (chance to rep your state) and the Grace bracelet.
I am a big fan of maxi skirts, esp those with a short skirt peeking through sheer fabric.  I wanted to have a casual laidback look therein adding the slouchy sweater.  And kept it classy with my vintage Coach purse :).
