Diamonds in the sky.

Editing by me, Photography by Sarah Jehan, Makeup By Audrey De Los Reyes
Red Banana Republic trench coat via Crossroads Trading, Gold c/o DressEmpire.com Scala dress, Gold F21 ring, Brown gifted Kurt Geiger leopard satchel, Black Steve Madden heels.

This dress is beyond beautiful with the intricate sequin design and strapless sweetheart shape -- shiny and perfect from DressEmpire's selection of New Years Eve dresses.  Was so lovely they also picked this out of all the scala dresses for me, it fit in with my style.  I decided to go with the holiday theme and pair it off with an amazing find from Crossroads recently -- this gorgeous red Banana Republic trench.  I love the mix of leopard and sequins, playing with textures again (I seem to do that a lot haha, can't help it!). And decided for heels to keep it simple and sleek with strappy sandals.

Shoutout to Sarah Jehan, one of my sweetest girlfriends, who took these photos. Her work is amazing, definitely check out her site.  Also, shoutout to one of my lovely besties since middle school :), Audrey De Los Reyes for her gorgeous makeup. Def check out her makeup blog mmmakeupbyaudrey as well! Had such a fun time with these girls on this collab :).
Random, but I love how the background kind of goes with the outfit -- ironically metallurgy goes with the shiny metallic like sequins ;).

Ah December is almost here! Hope you lovelies had a great Thanksgiving filled with lots of really good food, I was pumpkin-wasted ;). Can't wait for Christmas coming up, my all-time fave holiday. Have an amazing week ahead Beautifuls!

Oxblood.

Oxblood HM hat, Oxblood American Apparel cropped turtle neck, Gold vintage Chanel brooch, Light brown c/o Filthy Magic skater skirt, Arm swag: brown c/o LUXLA leather bracelet, gold gifted Kurt Geiger bracelet, black chevron rings via Crossroads Trading, gold ring c/o Beginning Boutique, gold Urban Outfitters 'k' bracelet; Black white c/o Mimi Boutique Tamara satchel, Brown Zara leopard heels.

Embracing Fall colors more than ever -- in particular, obsessed with the color Oxblood, or aka a fancy name for Burgundy? lol. The other day I said to my friend, I love leopard and oxblood -- then figured that does not sound so animal friendly ;P. I'm a dork and I notice the funny side of trends sometimes.

Laughter aside, I'm still obsessed with this vintage Chanel brooch, stick it on anything and it looks ultra cool. Decided to pair this beautiful skater skirt from Filthy Magic with a cropped AA top and HM hat. Played with textures with this gorgeous Tamara satchel from Mimi Boutique and Zara leopard print heels.
P.S. Check out my style segment feature on Mimi Boutique!

Last Night x Inspirafashion Dress Giveaway!

Brown Vintage boyfriend coat, gold vintage Chanel brooch, Red c/o Last Night Blake Cutout Dress, Ivory vintage Chanel purse, Arm Party: white chain wrap bracelet and rings via Crossroads Trading, brown c/o Mimi Boutique leopard bracelet, white F21 pyramid bracelet, gold ASOS spike bracelet, Black Zara sandal heels.

Very very excited to host a giveaway with online shop, Last Night. Firstly, I want to say this is one of my very fave sites to buy dresses for any party-occasion.  The founder, Stephanie, is my good friend and one of my very fave bloggers -- she curates a beautiful collection of dresses sold on her shop.  Which btw, I adore the description of her shop -- to remember those memorable fun nights (which appropriately ;P I did have in this dress, Halloween with my besties, and dressed up as Minnie).

Firstly, the Blake Cutout dress is gorgeous being sweetheart and strapless, and having cut-outs on the sides.  The rich red color is so perfect for holiday parties coming up, which is how I've styled it with browns and golds. This is something I would definitely wear to a Christmas party.

Color Block Cozy.

Navy c/o Margaret O'Leary Color Block Crew leather trim sweater, Brown Karen Walker Super Duper Strength sunnies, Green necklace via Crossroads Trading, Teal American Apparel skirt, Arm Candy: Silver c/o Filthy Magic spike bracelet, vintage watch, TJ Maxx pyramid stud bracelet, Silver c/o Mimi Boutique 'XOXO' bracelet, Silver rhinestone ring via Crossroads Trading, Black Via Spiga sandals, Brown Kurt Geiger leopard bag.

If I went to Paris Fashion Week, in the cold fall/winter, this probably would be my outfit, minus the sandals..prob would replace with heeled boots haha.  But, being semi-cold California, thought it was a nice touch.
I'm happy to be a part of the November Style Challenge to style this beautiful color block leather trim sweater from amazing SF-Based designer, Margaret O'Leary.  It is by far the coziest snuggly sweater I have. I like the description on the site "teddy bear" soft, describes it perfectly. I styled it by tucking it in an a-line skirt.

Also, the color palette: navy, teal, gray, and black is another set of colors I adore for fall, besides the famous "oxblood" ;P.  Thought of having fun with accessories, in particular this gorgeous leopard clutch/satchel (I recently won from The Everything But The Dress instagram contest on Kurt Geiger!).  I love how it can turn into a clutch, crossbody, or satchel.

Hope you lovelies are having a great weekend!  Can't believe it's already November, time seriously flies!!  This past week was pretty eventful, Crossroads Shopping Party, Obama getting a second term as President, and voting for the second time in my life.
Keep inspiring Beautifuls!

Crossroads Trading x Inspirafashion Shopping Party

1) Shoppers and Inspirafashion Tag.  2) OOTN, peplum, pencil skirt.  3) All my fave girls, Sarah, Chanda, Anisa, and bubbly / cheese, obligatory food pic ;).
4) Met the sweetest party-goers; posed with Anisa and Rosa.  5) Chanda and I always seem to match, down to our shoes, love.  6) With these beautiful blogger babes, Eli, Jes, Anisa, Chanda, and Rosa

The annual Crossroads Trading Shopping Party is something I always look forward to, and when I was contacted to host this year's, I of course was so excited and honored to!  The event includes the best pieces from all 6 Bay Area Crossroads stores. Be sure to sign up for their mailing list to be in the know for the next one! ;)
Before the event started, I was given tags with words "An Inspirafashion Pick!"  It was so surreal to start tagging everything I adored (and secretly wanted to buy..all of it haha).  And more surreal, seeing customers and party fashionistas holding my picks and purchasing them, made me so happy :).  It was a semi curated collection of mine hehe.

I basically instagrammed the night through, but hey, as the lovely Sarah behind Crossroads Trading Social Media has said, we're professional instagrammers! ;) Which btw, I am truly addicted to that app.

The items in the party were amaaazing, I swear I saw so many gorgeous pieces, one of them I tagged above reminded me of a Missoni dress with its pretty multi-colored chevron print. I ended up leaving with a Diesel military vest, Acne parka, and a Rag & Bone shirt dress.
The night, I decided to wear and do a tribute to everything Crossroads. Peplum top, skirt, and rhinestone ring.

Just wanted to thank everyone so much for coming out! And Crossroads for asking me to host, had an amazing time. The party was a success, I mean who couldn't resist bubbly, delicious food, friends, aand clothes?! Heaven.

P.S. Check out my fun Fall shopping day with Crossroads here! :)

Kathleen.
