Alyssa Nicole Spring Collection 2013 Lookbook

I'm very excited to share the launch of the Spring 2013 Collection from super talented SF Fashion Designer, Alyssa Nicole!  I was so happy and excited to have been asked not only to model but to style as well the collection for her lookbook.  The photos by Jess Sorensen turned out surreal along with the amazing lookbook video by Dexter Ho.  Makeup and Hair was beautifully put together by Brittany Poquis.  We were able to shoot in the Conservatory of Flowers at Golden Gate Park, SF -- unbelievably dreamy and perfect location.  Lastly big shoutout once again to Alyssa Nicole for her out of this world beautiful designs and vision for the photoshoot -- inspiration came from Monet (my faavorite artist) and the impressionist art movement.  It really was such an amazing opportunity to be a part of this.

Hope you lovelies enjoy the Spring 2013 Collection by Alyssa Nicole, check out the rest of the lookbook HERE!  Feel free to follow as well Alyssa Nicole on Twitter and Facebook.
Also, check out the lookbook video, and shop the collection here. Happy shopping lovelies!

Once again thanks so much for being a part of my blog journey along with witnessing my passion for styling; hoping one day I'll style for Vogue ;). (dreaming big!)

P.S. I didn't officially announce it yet on my blog, but thought this is was the best time to introduce my portfolio site on past style projects!

Have an amazing rest of the week lovelies!

Kathleen

You're my sweetheart.

Black/white c/o Alyssa Nicole lace raglan sleeve dress, Brown gifted Kurt Geiger leopard satchel, Arm candy: Silver stone bracelet and rings via Crossroads Trading, Brown Zara sandal heels.

This lace dress is seriously a dream, one of my really talented girlfriends designed this.  I seriously recommend visiting her site at alyssa-nicole.com, her collections of dresses are beautifully made -- you'll fall in love too!  I decided to play off the black and white contrasting color combo with my leopard satchel, as well as my contrasting Zara sandal heels.  For accessories, I chose all pretty silver rings and bracelets.

But loving him was red.

Burgundy red c/o StyleMint Armstrong Blouse, Gold name necklace via Isle of Agape, Black Madewell high-waisted jeans, Brown Steve Madden sandals, Ivory Coach satchel, Black Ray-Ban Avaiators.

So I've noticed once I gravitate toward something in fashion, I go overboard, 2 years ago it was all about sweaters, this past year it was about definitely all about oxblood, burgundy.  It is now carrying over to the new year, but who could blame the trend? it's soo pretty!  I love this StyleMint Armstrong Blouse, and the rich red color.  Paired it with neutral accessories, brown sandals and my favorite Coach satchel (reminds me of Celine, until I can afford the real one).
Then paired it off also with my high-waisted comfy Madewell jeans.  Rarely do my Ray-Ban's get love, so decided to wear them out too.

Can't believe it's 2013!  I'm still having trouble remembering to write down the "3," I always end up correcting the 2 with an extra squiggle on the bottom.  So I'm pretty excited about 2013, especially with my travel plans, planning on the main 3: Vegas, LA, and NYC!  Can't wait!
Hope you Beautifuls had an amazing weekend, Happy Sunday!
P.S. The blog title refers to Taylor Swift's song "Red," which btw I am obsessed with that album!  It's amazing, and I can't wait to attend the concert next year with my Bestie! :)

Silver light.

White American Apparel turtleneck cropped top, Grey Urban Outfitters high-low skirt, Silver c/o ShoeMint stud spike 'Zoe' heels, Brown gifted Kurt Geiger leopard clutch, Arm candy: Silver c/o Filthy Magic spike bracelet, H&M cuff, silver rings via Crossroads Trading.

Decided to celebrate the new year, with of course something sparkly and pretty -- these ShoeMint 'Zoe' heels fit just that description of NYE-goodness.  Styled it with this gorgeous UO flowy high-low skirt and kept the colors to silvers/greys/neutrals w/ my AA cropped top.  For a mix of print, added my fave Kurt Geiger leopard clutch.

Happy New Years!  Can't believe 2012 is behind us and saying hello to 2013 now, time flies by way too fast; but they say it flies when you're having fun, which is so true -- 2012 brought me a lot of milestones and memorable feelings: happiness finally graduating from UC Berkeley, excitement starting my new job, gratefulness & bliss for having amazing readers like you along for the ride on my blog (being a part of such amazing features/events: Refinery 29 x TJ Maxx, Saks Fifth Avenue styling mannequins, Macy's collab w/ Pretty Little Liars Stylist, Got to host my first blogger collab party w/ Crossroads Trading)..
and to sum up 2012, decided to make a collage of some memorable memories :).
I am so excited for the new year, 2013 is going to be amazing! Happy 2013 Beautifuls!! Hope you'll have an amazing, fun, and exciting New Years Day!

Kathleen
