LuLu*s x Inspirafashion $100 Gift Card Festival Contest!

I'm very excited for this post, firstly because this is my favorite time of year (besides Christmas) with Spring/Summer fast approaching and the music festival season coming up: Coachella, Outsidelands, and everything in between.  Floral crowns, fringe, high-waisted denim shorts, sunnies, just scream the bright and amazing vibe that come with music festivals.

to win a $100 LuLu*s gift card!!

Bask in the sun.

Took advantage once again of this beautiful sunny weather, more of basked in the sun haha.  This dress from Beginning Boutique sums up the perfect combination of all things beautiful, lace, bow, and pretty silhouette. Decided to add to the sweetness with my CandP floral headband; a la Lana Del Rey ;). To toughen up the look, added my vintage Levis jean vest and buckle heels.  Always find my style reflects some type of irony..voila, edgy and girly.

Currently, commuting to work on BART, I naturally fell in love with w/ this new iphone app: spotify, I have so many playlists now! Random fun fact? I'm a movie and music fanatic.

Hi loves! Firstly want to say I've missed you all so very much!  Apologize for the hiatus as things in my life right now have been extremely busy, or more so there recently was a big change in my life and needed time to take care of myself.  You know when something that becomes natural and routine suddenly disappears from your life?  Well, that's what happened to me kind of and sorry for speaking in riddles but it's the only way I can express myself right now.  Anyways lovelies, hope you understand for the hiatus, thank you for being patient in this time I need to get myself better.

My blog has been my biggest love and passion for this past year and a half, and just wanted to give a big thank you and shoutout to all who've supported and seen this blog grow from its baby steps (or anywhere in between) and who continue to give amazing support♥.

This outfit is probably one of my go-to ones with the basics: blouse tucked in to a high-waisted jean short with cross-body bag and sandals.  The blouse from LuLus is my most fave part because it has this gorgeous lace detail on the shoulders.  And the bow adds the sweet factor.

Tweed & tie-dye.

Got this amazing tweed biker jacket a while ago from Zara, it's gorgeous..my fave is the black edge details.  Always wanted a tweed jacket, this one will do until I can afford one from Chanel one day! ;)  

My lust and love for Isabel Marant's tie-dye jeans remain..so this is what inspired the outfit.  Brought out my tie-dye jean slasher shorts I found from Wasteland on Haight in SF.  One of my fave thrift-find gems.  Keeping it simple, classic and sleek with the Mimi Boutique purse and nude pumps.

One more final to go!!!  The final of all finals..fin! (french for end ;p), which is appropriate because my last final is for my French class ;).  Count-down until graduating, about 4 days!!!  Going to go shopping after my last final tomorrow as MUCH needed retail therapy..and will be looking for a dress for graduation day!  Look out for instagram posts to help me decide, thanks lovelies!

P.S. Since Mother's Day is this weekend, thought I'd give a big shoutout to my biggest style icon in my life..my Mommy <3.  She's the one who actually got me into thrift and vintage shopping, she has a beautiful eye for style.  And this song is dedicated to my mom..Taylor Swift always depicts everything perfectly :).

Metal remix.

Tan Forever 21 scallop lace top, Blue vintage Levis shorts, Black vintage Dooney Bourke bag, Bracelets: Rose gold watch via ebay, Red/gold c/o Nectar Clothing feather braid bracelet, Gold ASOS spike, Rose gold HM cuff, Black Urban Outfitters Kimchi Blue wedges.

Decided I've missed dressing up with boho influences and getting inspired by the beautiful Nicole Richie (which btw, have you seen her on Fashion Star, just wish it was about her outfits ;P).  For this outfit I definitely had fun mixing metals (altho a fashion don't, I decided it'd be cool to mix..anyways, fashion's about experimenting and having fun!).  Rose gold is starting to become my absolute fave metal -- there's always something very luxurious about it.  Paired it off with gold essentials from ASOS and thee cutest feather charm bracelet from Nectar Clothing.  It even has a small message "Be Happy" on the end of it.

I got this blouse from Forever 21, which may I say was so gravitated toward it bc of #1 sheer, #2 scallop detail, and #3 lace..all features I love in a great top.
