Winds and Maxis.

Black vintage blazer, Gray cropped DIY top, Light pink H&M maxi skirt, Gray Jeffrey Campbell foxy heels, Brown thrifted bag.

Oh gosh, today was seriously the coldest day since..I really can't remember lol.  The wind was howling so loud and pushing me forward when I tried taking these pictures haha, esp when you're in 5 inch heels, it's kind of scary :p. Sorry I've been on a four-day hiatus, work and holiday shopping has been the reason.  But, as promised, I will start to update my blog more often :).  How are you lovelies btw?!  I still cannot believe this week is the last week of the year 2010!! And onto 2011 just this Friday at 12am! Wow, I really am amazed as to how fast this year flew by, as with every year.

Just wanted to say, this year especially was amazing as having all of you as my support on here in the fashion blog world.  It really, I have to confess, has changed my life course - as for now, I'm trying to pursue a career in fashion, in the process of figuring out what I want to do.  And really want to say a huuge thank you for helping me develop my passion and love for this.  I appreciate you beautifuls! and can't wait to share with you my journey 2011 and beyond.

Now, onto paying tribute to a trend I really loved this past year of 2010 -- maxi skirts!  Ah, it really brought my wardrobe to another level of chicness.  I found this maxi skirt at H&M on sale, and it fit me like a glove.  Decided to style it with a blazer for work and for extra height, my JC foxy heels.  Along with this trend, have to say shearling, chunky knits, oxfords, faux fur, cropped tops, cape/silk blouses, high-waisted anything, leopard and wedges were all my faavorite & truly memorable 2010 trends.
Here's a toast to all you stylish fashionistas of 2010 & more to come.

Pictures from Nasty Gal Vintage, Threadsence, Topshop, and Urban Outfitters.

<3, Kathleen.

Wonderful skirt!! I'm jealous that your 'coldest day' looks like that! We have heaps and heaps of snow, in the places where there wasn't shoveled it comes up to my waist!

You look super stunning in the maxi skirt...I have similar heels to your JC Foxy's (mine are Jessica Simpson's Dany) and I agree, with the wind blowing, it takes some strategy to walk in towering heels! Which your heels are gorgeous by the way.

Have a wonderful New Year!
