Neon Love: Victoria's Secret x Chictopia.

Outfit #1: c/o Victoria's Secret PINK neon green tank, Vintage Levis denim shorts, Tan Zara sandal heels, Brown Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac bag.
Outfit #2: c/o Victoria's Secret PINK neon pink tank, Orange Zara polka dot mini skirt, Tan Sam Edelman sandals, White vintage Chanel purse.

Nothing screams a beautiful summer than a pretty neon pop of color. I partnered with Chictopia and Victoria's Secret in styling these two tops from Victoria's Secret new PINK essentials line: 2 for $40 tees and tanks. They’re so effortlessly pretty and sweet for the summertime. I love how the neon pink and green both have lovely lace racerback details -- the perfect combination of sporty meets girly. Pair them with some distressed denim or a cute mini skirt underneath — and its the perfect summer look.

I can’t believe btw Summer is already here! The first day was technically last Friday, but I am so excited for those warm lovely summer nights, bon fires, trips to the beach, and enjoying the sun. Have an amazing week ahead lovelies and hope you enjoyed how I styled these two lovely tanks!

P.S. Check out my Chictopia post here as well.

Chanel stripes.

Brown Urban Outfitters hat (similar here), Gray Forever 21 stripe top (similar here), White Zara skirt, Brown Tory Burch satchel via Silver and Plum, Gold vintage Chanel brooch, Nude Zara sandal heels, Arm candy: Silver cross bracelet c/o Mimi Boutique, Gold arrow ring via Crossroads Trading.

If I had a go-to comfy outfit, this probably would be it -- a casual tee, crossbody bag, sandal heels (given its 3 inches) ;), a cool hat.  All the factors scream my wardrobe.  At the moment this new Zara skirt I got, I am obsessssed (words can't describe how happy I was when I found it!).  I love how it has that small detail of the asymmetrical hem.

Hope you lovelies have been doing well!  We're almost to Friday and I can't wait for the weekend.  This week has been seriously the longest, but getting back into the groove of things.  This weekend celebrating with one of my girlfriends her bday at Rotunda/shopping, then Sunday is Father's Day! Time flies. We're planning on hiking in Napa, can't wait for family bonding time :).

Blue Viva Vena! shirt dress via Nordstrom Savvy Depart., Gold necklace via Etsy, Arm candy: Brown c/o Jeweliq fox bracelet, Brown gifted Buy Love Give Love 'LOVE' bracelet, Brown Zara heels, Brown Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac.

I recently visited the Nordstrom Savvy department, and can I just say, never have I came across a place I felt so home when looking for clothes that fit my style...I finally did there!  And the sales rack is amazing -- I found this gorgeous Viva Vena! shirt dress there, very my style with the button up blouse top part, and a pretty denim and polka dot pattern.  I decided to keep it casual and comfy with this outfit -- dark browns with the bracelets and trusty Zara sandal heels.  And adding some gold touches with this pretty LOVE bracelet from Buy Love Give Love and my social media handle necklace.

Hope you lovelies are having a great week so far! So happy the end of the week is coming close..I am very very ready for the weekend (as usual, it's been a longg week where rest is much needed!).

Vidal Sassoon x Chictopia: "Show Your Genius" - Look 2: Sweet Glam

Second up to this Vidal Sassoon x Chictopia series,
"Sweet Glam, Night Out" Look
White Agaci polka dot dress, Red c/o Hobo International 'Zara' clutch, Tan c/o Steve Madden MARLENEE heels.

Here, I used these Vidal Sassoon products:
I wanted to have more fun with this look and was kind of inspired by (everyone's new fave movie) The Great Gatsby along with beachy hippie hair ;).  And having short hair, I love curling it and having it reminiscent of those flapper girl 1920's hair styles.  The hippie vibe came from creating the side braids.
In other words, Hippie meets Gatsby.

First, I used the Vidal Sassoon MOISTURE One Minute Mask, after applying to damp hair and combing through in the shower, I rinsed it thoroughly.  After, I applied the Vidal Sassoon REPAIR Heat & Protect Shine Spray all over the ends before applying any heat to my hair.  Right after blow drying, my hair felt so silky and soft, I could run my hand through it without any tangles.  I then started to curl my hair alternating between inward and outward curls for volume.  After each curl, I also applied the Vidal Sassoon EXTRA FIRM HOLD Hairspray which held the curls tightly without any frizzy hair as well.  Next the curls helped to create the braids and hold them together too -- ended it off with tying them to the back with a little clip.

After styling my hair with curls all over, I decided to style it with a sweet party night out outfit.  This white polka dot dress from Agaci was perfect for the hair style I created.  Both the polka dot dress and curly hair were perfect for a sweet yet glam night look.

If you haven't yet, enter Vidal Sassoon's fun contest HERE -- share your own hair style look and be entered to win one of many prizes, $1,000 to complete your look, and a year's supply of Vidal Sassoon Pro Series!  Also, feel free to check out my Chictopia posts on the series as well here.

Hope you lovelies enjoyed this two-part post!  My very first set of beauty-meets-fashion posts :).
Keep inspiring Beautifuls!

Vidal Sassoon x Chictopia: "Show Your Genius" - Look 1: Sleek Chic

Blue floral blouse tank top via Crossroads Trading, White c/o GUESS rhinestone necklace, Ivory vintage Chanel crossbody purse, Light blue HM skinny jeans, White Tildon heels.

I'm so excited to share with you lovelies my first beauty-meets-fashion post on Inspirafashion!
I recently was asked by Vidal Sassoon x Chictopia to participate in their campaign called "Show Your Genius."  Here, I was able to show my creative side with unique hair style creations using Vidal Sassoon products.

Also, I've entered Vidal Sassoon's fun contest on their Facebook, be sure to enter too HERE lovelies!  You can share your own hair style look and be entered to win one of many prizes, $1,000 to complete your look, and a year's supply of Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Also, feel free to check out my Chictopia posts on the series as well here.

I've always loved creating different hair styles especially when I had longer hair, but now having shorter hair, it was a fun and new experience creating different hair styles.
I decided it'd be fun to show a bit variety by creating two different hair style looks -- one as a casual daytime look and the other for night or going out.  Hope you liked the first part of this series!
First up, "Sleek Chic and 'Faux' Side-Swept" Look

I decided to use these three products from Vidal Sassoon's Pro Series:
After washing my hair with Vidal Sassoon's Moisture Lock shampoo and conditioner, my hair felt super soft, and fresh and clean.  After, I did a quick blow dry using a round brush. I usually have blunt straight across bangs, so I thought it'd be hard to have "faux" side-swept bangs.  But with the help of Vidal Sassoon's Mega Firm Hold Gel, they were manageable and held my bangs to the side after applying the product and sweeping the bangs to the side with a small tooth comb.  Not to mention, the product smells SO GOOD.  I think I'd compare it to sweet candy or a mix of floral scents.

With this Casual straight hair style, I decided to keep it simple and style a pretty floral printed blouse from Crossroads Trading with high-waisted jeans, along with all white accessories: rhinestone necklace, Chanel purse, and sleek pointy white heels.

Hope you enjoyed the first look :).  Stay tuned for part 2 this week!  The second look I created as a "Glam" hair style you can wear on a night-out.

Hope you're having a great week Beautifuls!

Easy breezy.

White Urban Outfitters kimono top (similar here), Brown Brandy Melville dress (similar here), Tan Rebecca Minkoff mini Mac, Black Steve Madden 'Realove' sandal heels.

Quick outfit post of comfy elements and an easy breezy look for warmer days we've been having in the bay area.  I love wearing loose & sheer flowy pieces for this type of weather.  Accessories include RM mini mac and sleek Steve Madden Realove heels.
Surprisingly I think this is the first time really I wore my hair straight in a while. It's getting so long...thinking of maybe growing it out again? I constantly go through this phase of being bored with my hair ;P.

Hope you lovelies are doing well!  Can you believe it's May already?! Just last year this time I graduated from UC Berkeley. Time flies like crazy..which is why I try to take to heart the quote "Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by every moment that takes your breath away."
