Lace and suede.

Brown Urban Outfitters floppy hat (similar style here), Black white c/o Alyssa Nicole Fall 2012 lace dress (similar style here), Black Ivanka Trump knee-high boots, Brown c/o Hobo 'Farah' crossbody bag (black version here), Gold rings via Coach (silver style here), Gold K+Q initial ring (gifted by the boyfriend) via Bauble Bar.

With the Fall and Winter season coming fast, I've transitioned pretty slowly into the season's layered clothing and coats.  I'm still wanting to wear dresses, and so I find this Alyssa Nicole lace dress a perfect transition into fall fashion.  The lace and long sleeves are so lovely, Alyssa created such a beautiful dress.  I surprised her this past week by wearing this at her trunk show she hosted at Fashion Elles in the Marina, SF.  It was a sweet time enjoying rose and cupcakes while viewing her new Fall 2013 collection, be sure to check it out here.

I decided to style the dress with a few simple accessories including these knee-high suede boots -- it's so hard for me to find boots with a small circumference on top because I have such small calves.  So happy these were a perfect fit.  I think in the future I'm going to create a post on what kind of boots would be good for those with small calves, the same issue I have.  Also paired the outfit with my trusty Hobo Farah crossbody bag, I've been using it non-stop.  What I love about the Hobo bags is they have so many pockets / compartments, so important for me especially when I'm in a rush in the mornings or any time really, trying to find my keys or clipper card (haha my BART issues).

Hope you lovelies have a great start of the week! Keep inspiring. Btw! Stay tuned next week (I can't believe already the time is coming fast), for the launch of the new Inspirafashion website!

P.S. Unfortunately I'm unable to transfer my google friend connect to the new site.

Neon lace.

Black boyfriend coat via Crossroads Trading, Blue neon H&M top, Black Forever 21 lace skirt, Black thrifted crossbody purse (similar style here), Black c/o West Egg Jewelry button ring, Black gifted Marc Fisher 'Dotsie' sequin flats.

I've owned this boyfriend coat, which I scored from Crossroads, for a while now, but it has finally made it's first appearance on the blog. I love wearing boyfriend coats, because they're not too fitted and pretty much can be dressed up or down. Here, I decided to pair it with more floral (I feel like I wear a lot more floral in fall / winter then in actual Spring haha).  These sequin flats from Marc Fisher are the cutest ever, I love how it has this sequin detail and are super comfy.

Hope you lovelies have a great weekend!  Ah it's Friday already, I'm so happy the week's over and onto the weekend.  This weekend is pretty busy, I'm having two brunches saturday and sunday with my close girlfriends; can't wait to catch up with them.  Its times like these I always know despite being super busy, those who really care about you make time for you..blessed to have such great friends :).

Signing off now for the weekend, have a relaxing fun one Beautifuls!

Scarlet Red: Refinery 29 and Maybelline Color Elixir Launch #MyLipMagic Pt. 2

Brown c/o bebe leather jacket (similar style here), Pink c/o SheInside floral blouse (similar style here), Brown Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC bag, Burgundy Urban Outfitters BDG skinny jeans, Dark purple Zara ankle-strap heels (similar style here), Makeup: gifted to review Signature Scarlet Maybelline Color Elixir.

Excited to share this second part of the Refinery 29 and Maybelline launch of Maybelline's Color Elixir collection!  Already loving red colored lipsticks, this shade of Signature Scarlet from the Maybelline Color Elixir was a perfect addition to my makeup collection.  I've yet to own a bright bold red lip gloss, but this one for sure was a favorite of mine when trying it on.  The shade is perfect for the holidays coming because of its festive yet beautiful appearance.

I thought this floral top with hues of pinks, orange, and reds, would complement perfectly with this vibrant red lip color.  This outfit was made for Fall, had a little bit of color block going on: paired my leather jacket and these burgundy skinny jeans with dark purple strappy heels and accessorized with gold jewelry.

Hope you lovelies enjoyed this second part of the series to Refinery 29 and Maybelline's Color Elixir launch! I loved mixing beauty with fashion and styling these outfits inspired by their new lip products.  Have a lovely rest of the week beautifuls!

Pretty in pink: Refinery 29 and Maybelline Color Elixir Launch #MyLipMagic Pt. 1

Brown Aeropostale leopard scarf (similar style here), Light purple Brandy Melville sweater (similar style here), Ivory vintage Chanel purse, Purple Brandy Melville skirt (similar cute orange style here), Black Ivanka Trump knee-high suede boots, gold arrow ring via Crossroads Trading, Makeup: gifted to review Fuchsia Flourish Maybelline Color Elixir.

I've loved wearing lipstick ever since middle school (yep started that young with makeup!).  So to me lipstick/gloss has been one of my favorite signature makeup items I couldn't really leave the house without growing up. I usually wear red lipsticks, and this was a first trying out this pretty pink color from Maybelline. I absolutely loved the bright color and how well it brightened up a neutral outfit.  Here I styled this lipstick with lighter colors, light pinks, purples, and browns to not overpower the lipstick color.

It's been exciting to work with Refinery 29 and Maybelline for Maybelline's launch of their new collection, Color Elixir.  What's great about this product I haven't seen with others, is it's an all-in-one product: lipstick, lip gloss, and lip balm. When applying the lip product, it has a thick consistency which definitely helped with moisturizing my lips (essential for me -- my main issue is having dry lips).  When applying this product, I had to blot a little bit more, but this was only because I started out with applying a large amount of the lip gloss.  So I suggest applying a little in the beginning and then it will stay on perfectly. My favorite part about the color elixir is it has a beautiful pigmented color, here in a pretty fuchsia pink.

Overall, the fact its super moisturizing and the color is amazing, bright and fun (with a pretty shine), makes these Maybelline Color Elixirs so lovely especially with the holidays coming up!

I'm excited to share with you one more post after this on their launch! I'll be reviewing another color from their Color Elixir collection, the Signature Scarlet. Stay tuned this Wednesday for this next post of the two-part series!

Free falling.

Brown Urban Outfitters hat (similar style here), Ivory Urban Outfitters lace cropped top (similar style here), Blue Madewell skinny jeans, Gold gifted DSW clutch, Berry gifted Marc Fisher 'Trince' loafer flats.

If I could pick one season I love the most, it would have to be Fall. As much as I love the sun and the warm weather in the summertime, its something about the autumn season that gets me...okay maybe it's all about my pumpkin obsession ;). Pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin pie, pumpkin cupcakes, okay you get the picture. In addition to pumpkin cravings, there's the beautiful Fall leaves, the holiday atmosphere, the family all gets together, everyone's happy its the end of the year. Such a sweet season, especially for fashion too.

I paired this lace crop top with a very casual outfit, but kept it interesting with this beautiful gold clutch from DSW. Also, these berry colored flats from Marc Fisher are perfect for Fall, I love how they look so elegant and they're so comfy! Lastly, paired the outfit with my favorite brown floppy hat.

Now I'm off to enjoy some Starbucks in those cute holiday cups (got so excited when I saw them). Keep inspiring lovelies!

Urban moto chic.

Black Nasty Gal cropped leather jacket, Blue lace dress c/o Choies (similar style here), Ivory vintage Chanel purse, 'Love' bracelet c/o Mimi Boutique, Black gifted Marc Fisher booties.

When I saw this blue lace dress from Choies, I loved how it had this trumpet hem along with hints of nude fabric and a crazy fun lace pattern.  It's so interesting, urban sporty yet feminine. I think my style is really gravitating toward this type of cool irony in fashion, sporty meets girly -- a neat twist all the time.
I decided to style this dress with a black leather jacket (btw, one of my all-time favorite new additions to my closet!), its so hard for me to find a nice fitted leather jacket, finally found one. I also added to this outfit some beautiful black suede booties from Marc Fisher. I accessorized with this cute 'Love' bracelet from Mimi Boutique and gold rings.

This past weekend has been so eventful, and in the best way possible -- I teamed up with a wonderful photographer and videographer, Tim Williams.  We had the shoot at Berkeley, found hidden gems everywhere -- seriously was the best working with him. I love partnering with different artists in fashion, it's such a great way to connect and create something amazing.  I can't wait to share with you lovelies!! It's going to be released along with my new blog redesign by my good friend and web designer, Richard Tom! Stay tuned lovelies by Thanksgiving week!

Cheetah Camo Remix.

Dark green c/o LuLu*s camo jacket (similar style here), Metallic skirt via Crossroads Trading, Brown gifted Isaac Mizrahi 'Simon' oxford flats, Arm candy: gold crystal bullet ring and black button ring c/o West Egg Jewelry, gold arrow ring c/o LuLu*s (similar style here),  Brown cheetah print clutch c/o DAAME.

Whenever I create outfits, I love styling looks with an interesting mix of textures and prints.  Here I styled camo and cheetah prints with a metallic textured skirt.  I love how the tan oxfords go well with this outfit, not overpowering the rest of it (having a unique prints together).  Also, with accessories I decided to have fun with these beautiful rings from West Egg Jewelry.  The designer of this online shop, Heather Ross (also a great fashion blogger), reached out and let me know of her jewelry line, which has some beautiful pieces!  Her jewelry is available on Facebook which you can purchase there directly by FB messaging her with your selection (item number) and your email.  Just a heads up her jewelry is also available on Redditgifts Marketplace, and see where her inspiration comes from on her Pinterest as well.

Happy almost halloween lovelies!! Hope you have a great rest of the week. Keep inspiring!
P.S. I'll be attending a Birchbox dinner in SF tonight, be sure to follow my instagram here to find out what the event is about! :)
