White American Apparel floral jumper, Brown Madewell velvet shorts, Black c/o Lancaster Paris Best Friend crossbody clutch, Silver F21 accessories, Tan Aldo ankle boots.

This outfit sums up all these new items recently added to my wardrobe, and I'm currently obsessing over.  Firstly, my AA floral jumper the loovely boyfriend got me for my 21st bday.  Secondly, these aaamazin velvet shorts from Madewell -- a gift from my oh so lovely roomie Kaylie (who is so stylish as well, im trying to get her to make a blog! lol), third, my Aldo booties are SO freakin comfortable and remind me oh so much of the Acne boots I sadly can't afford, best thrifty option ever! :)  And lastly, the Lancaster Best Friend  clutch really has the best name ever, because it is my Best Friend when I need a quick handy clutch to bring w/ me to parties, out w/ the girls, shopping etc. -- aamazingly carries in its small size, all my necessities: phone, sunglasses, debit/credit cards, keys, ipod.

Paired this fall outfit with silver accessories -- as you can tell I am addicted to wearing silver cuffs..a la Aladdin's genie lol.  So off topic, there has been this straange heat wave, allowing me to wear shorts, but in all honesty, I can't wait for cold and layering and moore layering..Fall is the perfect time to get dig and wear out more of my clothes (bad idea for my shopaholic self).

Onto updates on what's going on w/ my life so far..one) I've missed you all again super much!  Ah, its hard to coordinate w/ my photog-bf living no longer close to each other, so now I'm making posts weekly..buut, I'll, as Tim Gunn says, make it work! :) Midterms are taking over my school life, and juggling two jobs is still hard, but always am happy to wind down by blogging.  

Which btw, Inspirafashion's anniversary was this past Wednesday!  Just wanted to say, this is the part I get corny :p, I'm seriously so grateful for everyone who has and still continues to support my blog..it wouldn't have grown to what it is today w/o you lovelies!  And it is #1 on my to-do-list to meet aaall of you one day, enjoy coffee or tea or whatever ur preference and go shopping n hang out.  Hope you all are having a fun weekend, keep inspiring Beautifuls!

Collar craze.

White H&M sheer blouse, Pink American Apparel high-waisted shorts, Brown thrifted bucket bag, Gold F21 accessories, Tan Zara wedges.

Currently, I am obsessed with very high collars, and just collars in particular -- studded ones, or even just simple sheer ones like the one I'm wearing.  I guess you can say I'm a bit of a tumblr addict at times, and it has made me get into this strange collar-knit sweater-and braid craze, which goes through my head everyday lol.  Right now my fall wardrobe consists of all that, including lots and looottss of boots!  I'm a boot fanatic: currently eyeing the dolce vita exposed zipper ankle boot, resembling the Acne Pistol one I've been coveting for a while.

Anyways enough of my shopaholic-self..I've seriously missed you all so much!  Things are settling in with my life at school, getting in to the groove of remembering which class I'm going to for a certain day of the week, or which job I need to rush to right after.  

Among other things happening, my 21st birthday is this friday!!  So crazy how time flies, I'm already 21..I still feel like a senior in high school though lol.  My boyfriend's planning on taking me to Napa!  For wine-tasting and a faancy dinner..which includes more wine lol :). (also super excited to show you what presents he got me!) :). Then saturday hanging out with my best girlfriends at another fancy dinner in the Berkeley Marina then heading to a bar/lounge after.

Fashion's Night Out 2011: Saks Fifth Avenue!

Morning Beautifuls!  Prepare yourself for a very picture heavy post!  It's picture-heavy for a reason because I def wanna share w/ you all the excitement that happened for FNO at Saks w/ having an amazing opportunity to participate in a Stylelist event, styling mannequins!  Big 'Thank You' to Saks and Stylelist for having me!! :)  And this surreal experience wouldn't have been possible without all of you -- thank you so much for being here along this ride w/ me as my blog continues to grow, it has meant so much to have you all as amazing supportive readers <3.

A week before this, I got to visit Saks and pull any kind of clothing/accessories from every floor!  Imagine how excited I was lol.  For mannequin #1: Vince fur scarf, Gucci belt, Theory leather jacket, Helmut Lang sweater, Alice+Olivia dress, Chloe bag.  I was thinking of SF when creating my looks: all layering for fall..and unpredictable weather :p.

On mannequin #2: Burberry cable knit sweater, Prada belt, YSL purse, T by Alexander Wang velvet maxi skirt.

Beeest part of the night was I got to meet some of my readers!!  They were thee sweetest and cutest ever:  Miianne from MiianneFashionDaily and Danielle from Things She Made.  Wish I got to see more of you!  really just brightened my day to see everyone in-person! :)

During pulling clothes, my heart fluttered as I walked to the accessories section..Chloe and YSL stole my heart lol (of course, my faves).

My mom, auntie, cousin, and family came to support.  Her being one of my important fashion idols, of course needed her to be there :).

D&G free makeovers were done during the event!  My cousin's gf came too, super sweet. :)

Hi Beautifuls!  This is gonna be a quick post, but I just wanted to update my blog with an outfit post before I head off to work again at Urban Outfitters.  Thought of wearing a simple outfit with mixture of suede and a play on shapes -- the high-low skirt with the crop top.  

I've really missed you lovelies!! it's been super long..and I'm going to make this work of getting posts into my schedule for this year.  Things have been settling in with my apartment..furniture has been assembled (sometimes Ikea can be a pain in the butt to put together! :p), but I still need to add a bit of decor.  I can't wait to share with you photos of my apartment!

Updates: Saks Fifth Avenue FNO & Bloggers Wardrobe!

Hi Beautifuls!  Ah, I've seriously missed you all just way too much, I hope you all had a lovely week!  As I said before, I'm currently adjusting back into college life, moving in to my new apartment, TWO jobs, schoolwork etc.  But I really have missed blogging, my blog and you my readers have been a big part of my life!

With that said, I'd looove to invite you to an upcoming Stylelist event I'm participating in for Fashion's Night Out San Francisco! I'd really be so excited to hopefully get a chance to meet you! :)

As a fashion blogger, I was invited to style a mannequin installation at Saks Fifth Avenue Union Square for FNO!  The event is on Thursday, September 8 at 6-8pm (you can come anytime).  There will be refreshments, makeovers, trivia contests and other activities through out the store.

Also, my mannequin installation will be on display at the bloggers fashion lounge on the 5^th floor starting Tuesday, September 6.
