Raspberry Red: LUXLA Indian leather hex bracelet Giveaway!

Raspberry red Lush chiffon shirt dress, Brown thrifted belt, Silver Forever 21 necklace, Dark brown H&M chelsea boots, Brown gifted LUXLA Indian leather hex nut bracelet, Gold CC Skye starburst bracelet, Grey gifted Rebecca Minkoff circle quilt MAB Mini satchel.

This to me is a comfy outfit -- boots with a little bit of heel, loose sheer chiffon, and a handy (not to mention one of the most beautiful bags I own) satchel.  Carefree summer meets fall outfit..kind of a part 2 I guess of the inspiration post I previously made.
I found this lovely chiffon shirt dress at Sway in Berkeley, a great store with such pretty clothing.  This shirt dress in particular just really reminded me of one by Alexander Wang..sadly I can't afford his, so I decided to find one similar! :)  Along with another item I've been coveting, the Isabel Marant Dicker boots..I found a pair that remind me a bit of it from H&M the other day.
And just had to share with you this gorgeous Rebecca Minkoff MAB Mini I received in the mail about a few weeks ago.  You should've seen me carefully opening up the box..my boyfriend just laughed as I had a lot of "oohs" and "aahs" and "it's soooo pretty!" lol.
Decided to pair this outfit with unique and edgy accessories:  Silver F21 fringe dagger necklace, Gold CC Skye starburst jagged bracelet, and...beautifully handcrafted LUXLA bracelet.

Seasonal fashion metamorphosis.

If I had the perfect way to transition from summer into fall, this outfit would sum up a perfect seasonal fashion metamorphosis.  I love how I can mix in the Karen Walker sunglasses and Topshop denim hotpants perfect for summer but still have warmth and comfort for fall with the 3.1 Phillip Lim cable knit sweater and most coveted Isabel Marant Dicker boots.  The Alexander Wang Diego bucket bag is just perfect for any season, especially with the white crisp leather adorned with mesmerizing silver studs -- two colors that can go with pretty much anything.
For this transitional look, I kept the colors more towards fall, but with soft muted tones to not overpower the delightful bright summer season.

August 1st is just around the corner and decided what better way than to make a post to welcome Fall 2011 :).  Enjoy these inspirational photos I've gathered to help inspire you to slowly get back in those sweaters, boots, and layers this fall.

When bohemian met denim.

White ShopJoellenLove crochet top, White thrifted woven belt, Dark indigo gifted INDI Custom bootcut jeans, Dark brown gifted Swellmayde envelope clutch, Gold Sneakpeeq bracelets by CCSkye, Gold F21 rings, Brown DIY hardware box-braided necklace, Grey suede Jeffrey Campbell Foxy heels.

These have to be my most comfiest bootcut jeans in my closet right now.  I love how I feel extra tall in them especially with heels and they fit like a glove, especially the length (super important for me not being THAT tall).  I had a great opportunity to collaborate with INDI Custom Jeans, an online custom denim retailer, to design my own pair!  The process was super easy and user friendly.  With the help of the loovely Becca, in charge of Marketing for INDI and also a fashion blogger (Free Honey), I designed my own pair of jeans in less than 10 minutes! :)

I decided to pair the bootcut jeans with a simple top, but with detail in the fabric (crochet) and especially in the accessories -- gold&pretty jagged and starfish bracelets and a brown leather envelope clutch gifted by Swellmayde (thank you so much Aimee!).  I also worked very hard recently on this DIY project..a hardware box-braided necklace, thanks to Honestly WTF for the great idea! :)  To top off the outfit and for extra height, wore my Jeffrey Campbell Foxy platform heels.

Also, enjoy some photos below I took when I visited the INDI Office in Emeryville! :)
They had fashion mood boards each with a fun theme.  This one stood out to me -- MILPH which stands for Mom Is Looking Pretty Hot.  Loved the inspirational photos, including the pretty model turned actress Krysten Ritter.
My boyfriend wasn't left out when he came along.  They also had a mood board dedicated to men's wear.  Lovee the dark wash for guys and the fun colored/patterned dress shirts.
I love how at INDI I had the chance to feel like my own designer when it came to picking out which pockets or certain wash to use for my custom jeans.  Ended up picking the pieced arch (as I've heard it makes your butt area look so much better!, lol).
To get a pair of your own custom-made jeans, be sure to visit www.indicustom.com and follow the easy steps to start designing your own jeans with a custom style and fit :).

On fluffy clouds.

White thrifted rosette top, Brown thrifted belt, Lilac blue gifted Urban Natures Fluffy feather chain necklace, Light blue Topshop lace skirt thrifted at Crossroads, Brown gifted LUXLA Indian leather gold hex bracelet, Thrifted/F21 rings, Gold gifted Urban Natures Give Hope bracelet, Tan ASOS Ames ankle boots.

While walking around trying to find the perfect place to shoot this look, we found this beautiful teal green wall.  I love how it complements the outfit with the soft baby blue colors in my skirt and accessories.  I seriously loove all the gifted accessories I've received recently.  The light brown/gold hex nut bracelet from LUXLA is beautifully handcrafted and made with love -- perfect for any bohemian outfit with the gorgeous braided Indian leather.
From Urban Natures, the delicate and lovely accessories like the Lilac blue Fluffy feather necklace along with the Give Hope bracelet really show how dreamy their jewelry collection is.  I really admire also how they are committed to giving 10% of their profit to children in need by providing aid to impoverished regions around the world.
I tried to capture the softness of each accessory by pairing them with light sheer fabrics and colors -- a lace Topshop skirt thrifted from Crossroads and White rosette top along with my new suede ankle boots from ASOS (which is my new addiction and wont leave my feet for a while :p).  Everything in this look is very fluffy and cloud-like indeed :).
