Autumn leaves.

Red c/o StyleMint stripe Winslow T, Brown Karen Walker sunnies, Tan American Apparel corduroy skirt, Vintage Prada backpack, Tan Steve Madden heels, Arm candy: Kurt Geiger chain bracelet, Hexnut bracelet c/o LUXLA, gold thrifted watch, gold ASOS spike bracelet, Pink stone ring via Crossroads Trading, Gold Bauble bar necklace (gifted by BBFF, Chels)

Having fun with fall leaves. The striped Winslow T paired w/ leopard and wine and browns put together, is the perfect way to say bye to Fall, and embrace the new year with winter.  Even though it's now winter, being California, it still feels like Fall to me.
Had fun making a gif too in the process :).
Also, with this sponsored StyleMint post, StyleMint is offering Inspirafashion readers a 2 for 1 offer.  Enter promo code 'B1G1SM' at checkout! Happy shopping loves!

New Years is just next week, ahh! 2013 came way too fast.  Think I'll post some of my new years resolutions on here then too :).  Hope you lovelies are having a great week so far!
P.S. Blog post title was inspired by Ed Sheeran's song "Autumn Leaves," super cute song if you haven't heard yet! :)

Oxblood.

Oxblood HM hat, Oxblood American Apparel cropped turtle neck, Gold vintage Chanel brooch, Light brown c/o Filthy Magic skater skirt, Arm swag: brown c/o LUXLA leather bracelet, gold gifted Kurt Geiger bracelet, black chevron rings via Crossroads Trading, gold ring c/o Beginning Boutique, gold Urban Outfitters 'k' bracelet; Black white c/o Mimi Boutique Tamara satchel, Brown Zara leopard heels.

Embracing Fall colors more than ever -- in particular, obsessed with the color Oxblood, or aka a fancy name for Burgundy? lol. The other day I said to my friend, I love leopard and oxblood -- then figured that does not sound so animal friendly ;P. I'm a dork and I notice the funny side of trends sometimes.

Laughter aside, I'm still obsessed with this vintage Chanel brooch, stick it on anything and it looks ultra cool. Decided to pair this beautiful skater skirt from Filthy Magic with a cropped AA top and HM hat. Played with textures with this gorgeous Tamara satchel from Mimi Boutique and Zara leopard print heels.
P.S. Check out my style segment feature on Mimi Boutique!

J'adore.

Gold Bauble Bar collar necklace (c/o Bday prez from Chelsea of Zipped), Pink striped sweater via Crossroads Trading, Black HM skirt, Brown c/o Hobo The Original crossbody bag, Arm candy: gold vintage watch, gold ASOS spike bracelet, brown c/o LUXLA hexnut bracelet, Plum Zara heels.

My love for stripes continues. I find that every season I fall in love with a particular trend and end up buying multiple pieces of that trend that catch my eye, this one in particular from Crossroads Trading.  The thing with trends though, I try to incorporate in my everyday style.  I can't get over pairing something so slouchy, like a sweater with something classic and sharp like this cool asymmetric hem skirt.
The necklace is my all-time fave -- rhinestone perfection. I received it in the mail from my lovely BBFF (best blogger friend forever) Chelsea from Zipped. We have this tradition of sending each other bday presents every year, also bc coincidentally we have the same bday :).
I liked pairing the sweater with my new beloved Zara heels, they're the perfect height for comfort -- and the color is simply amazing: plum/wine.

This past week has been great, I feel like I'm getting more productive with my work life.  Some fun things are in store for the blog and can't wait to share!  I hope you lovelies are having a great weekend!  Keep inspiring Beautifuls.

Sunkissed.

Black knit sweater via Crossroads Trading, Brown Brandy Melville dress, Gold H&M necklace, Brown leopard belt via Target (similar here), Arm candy: Gold vintage watch, Brown hexnut leather bracelet c/o LUXLA, Gold ASOS spike bracelet, Bordeaux Zara clutch c/o Hobo The Original, Gold arrow ring via Crossroads Trading, Black Steve Madden heels.

So I was soaking up the sun, or more so, every bit of summer I can get until its really gone -- the bay area has received a sweet present lately with this indian summer.  But I have also been gladly embracing the Fall season especially with fashion -- bordeaux is my all-time new fave color.  The color has even made it into my now faave bag from Hobo The Original -- this Zara leather clutch is the perfect size.  I recently took it along with me during my bday party, all essentials fit inside -- key, id/credit cards, lipstick, iPhone etc.
Also, happy to introduce my new beloved heels from Steve Madden.  They're simple and sweet -- definitely my style.

Hope you lovelies are doing well! As with life, I'm starting to get into the groove of things with work as well as juggling my love for fashion (and trying to pursue my dream job of styling).  The last two posts have shown some very exciting things happening with that :).  Collaborated with my favorite stores, Saks Fifth Avenue in a Blogger styling competition and T.J.Maxx + Refinery29 for a shopping feature.

So happy to now also share I'm going to be a part of (and also alongside other beautiful SF bloggers!) a Macy's Union Square Fall Trend Event hosted with Mandi Line, wardrobe stylist of TV Show, Pretty Little Liars!  (My guilty pleasure show!) ;). We'll be interpreting a trend we've been assigned with her onstage.

See details below.  If you're in SF, Saturday October 6th, would mean so much to see you Beautifuls there! PS. Even more exciting, if you mention my blog Inspirafashion upon arrival, you'll be able to get a $10 Macy's gift card! :)
Thanks so much again lovelies for all your amazing support.  Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!

Black and gold.

Outake shot, hair eating face lol
Brown Ralph Lauren blouse via Crossroads Trading, Gold black statement necklace via Crossroads Trading, Light blue Urban Outfitters high-waisted shorts, Vintage Chanel clutch, Tan Zara buckle wedges, Brown hexnut bracelet c/o LUXLA, Gold Coach and UO rings.

I've always loved a single statement piece, it can determine what other items to layer or incorporate in the outfit.  This gorgeous necklace from Crossroads Trading is out of this world amazing.  Decided to play off the black and gold color by wearing my printed Ralph Lauren blouse.  Kept it a bit more casual too with my distressed denim from Urban Outfitters.
And I just had to bring out my Zara wedges again, they've collected dust sadly in my closet.  They're really one of my all-time favorite purchases from Zara, unique and Chloe-esque.
P.S. Apologize about my crazy hair, it was super windy lol.  But at least with short hair it's less crazy than with my longg hair ;P.
----
Work has been cray busy, but despite that, I attended Fashion's Night Out this past Thursday with my fave blogger homegirl Chanda from PancakeStacker.  We party-hopped all over union square: Neiman Marcus, Saks, Kurt Geiger, Macy's, then Marc Jacobs.  Each place was different, had lots of fun at Macy's doing DIY Nails (or Phancy Phalanges) w/ the cutie duo Pams&kin and later a cool jungle theme photo-op at Marc Jacobs :).
How was FNO for you all?  Ah, btw, I'm super jelly of those all at NYFW right now!  But I'll live vicariously through all your tweets and IG posts ;).

Keep inspiring lovelies and have an amazing rest of your weekend!
♥, Kathleen.
