Lace and suede.

Brown Urban Outfitters floppy hat (similar style here), Black white c/o Alyssa Nicole Fall 2012 lace dress (similar style here), Black Ivanka Trump knee-high boots, Brown c/o Hobo 'Farah' crossbody bag (black version here), Gold rings via Coach (silver style here), Gold K+Q initial ring (gifted by the boyfriend) via Bauble Bar.

With the Fall and Winter season coming fast, I've transitioned pretty slowly into the season's layered clothing and coats.  I'm still wanting to wear dresses, and so I find this Alyssa Nicole lace dress a perfect transition into fall fashion.  The lace and long sleeves are so lovely, Alyssa created such a beautiful dress.  I surprised her this past week by wearing this at her trunk show she hosted at Fashion Elles in the Marina, SF.  It was a sweet time enjoying rose and cupcakes while viewing her new Fall 2013 collection, be sure to check it out here.

I decided to style the dress with a few simple accessories including these knee-high suede boots -- it's so hard for me to find boots with a small circumference on top because I have such small calves.  So happy these were a perfect fit.  I think in the future I'm going to create a post on what kind of boots would be good for those with small calves, the same issue I have.  Also paired the outfit with my trusty Hobo Farah crossbody bag, I've been using it non-stop.  What I love about the Hobo bags is they have so many pockets / compartments, so important for me especially when I'm in a rush in the mornings or any time really, trying to find my keys or clipper card (haha my BART issues).

Hope you lovelies have a great start of the week! Keep inspiring. Btw! Stay tuned next week (I can't believe already the time is coming fast), for the launch of the new Inspirafashion website!

P.S. Unfortunately I'm unable to transfer my google friend connect to the new site.

But loving him was red.

Burgundy red c/o StyleMint Armstrong Blouse, Gold name necklace via Isle of Agape, Black Madewell high-waisted jeans, Brown Steve Madden sandals, Ivory Coach satchel, Black Ray-Ban Avaiators.

So I've noticed once I gravitate toward something in fashion, I go overboard, 2 years ago it was all about sweaters, this past year it was about definitely all about oxblood, burgundy.  It is now carrying over to the new year, but who could blame the trend? it's soo pretty!  I love this StyleMint Armstrong Blouse, and the rich red color.  Paired it with neutral accessories, brown sandals and my favorite Coach satchel (reminds me of Celine, until I can afford the real one).
Then paired it off also with my high-waisted comfy Madewell jeans.  Rarely do my Ray-Ban's get love, so decided to wear them out too.

Can't believe it's 2013!  I'm still having trouble remembering to write down the "3," I always end up correcting the 2 with an extra squiggle on the bottom.  So I'm pretty excited about 2013, especially with my travel plans, planning on the main 3: Vegas, LA, and NYC!  Can't wait!
Hope you Beautifuls had an amazing weekend, Happy Sunday!
P.S. The blog title refers to Taylor Swift's song "Red," which btw I am obsessed with that album!  It's amazing, and I can't wait to attend the concert next year with my Bestie! :)

Black and gold.

Outake shot, hair eating face lol
Brown Ralph Lauren blouse via Crossroads Trading, Gold black statement necklace via Crossroads Trading, Light blue Urban Outfitters high-waisted shorts, Vintage Chanel clutch, Tan Zara buckle wedges, Brown hexnut bracelet c/o LUXLA, Gold Coach and UO rings.

I've always loved a single statement piece, it can determine what other items to layer or incorporate in the outfit.  This gorgeous necklace from Crossroads Trading is out of this world amazing.  Decided to play off the black and gold color by wearing my printed Ralph Lauren blouse.  Kept it a bit more casual too with my distressed denim from Urban Outfitters.
And I just had to bring out my Zara wedges again, they've collected dust sadly in my closet.  They're really one of my all-time favorite purchases from Zara, unique and Chloe-esque.
P.S. Apologize about my crazy hair, it was super windy lol.  But at least with short hair it's less crazy than with my longg hair ;P.
----
Work has been cray busy, but despite that, I attended Fashion's Night Out this past Thursday with my fave blogger homegirl Chanda from PancakeStacker.  We party-hopped all over union square: Neiman Marcus, Saks, Kurt Geiger, Macy's, then Marc Jacobs.  Each place was different, had lots of fun at Macy's doing DIY Nails (or Phancy Phalanges) w/ the cutie duo Pams&kin and later a cool jungle theme photo-op at Marc Jacobs :).
How was FNO for you all?  Ah, btw, I'm super jelly of those all at NYFW right now!  But I'll live vicariously through all your tweets and IG posts ;).

Keep inspiring lovelies and have an amazing rest of your weekend!

Free fall.

Brown Ecote vest via Urban Outfitters, White Zara striped top, Gray F21 skirt, Ivory c/o Mimi Boutique satchel, Black Via Spiga sandal heels (one with similar style), Gold vintage watch, 'K' initial bracelet via UO, Coach rings, Black Brandy Melville wishbone bracelet.

This is my take on transitioning from Summer to Fall, layering with this oh so cute Ecote vest found at UO as well as adding all the neutral brown and ivory colors.  Summer is still with me bc I can't get enough of wearing sandals -- I found these gorgeous Via Spiga sandal heels at Nordstrom Rack recently.  Luck was on my side bc it was just my first time ever shopping there!  They remind me of minimal Celine sandals I could never afford :P, but best & most fun part about shopping is finding similar items to the ones you covet the most ;).
Lastly, this satchel from Mimi Boutique is so chic, I love the pretty braid detail and shape of the bag, not to mention it has so many compartments for a lot of things I need to carry around.

Hope you lovelies are doing well!  Time flies, and can't believe September is almost here already!  My birthday is coming up soon! :) I'm not too sure yet of what to do, after turning 21, 22 doesn't seem so exciting haha -- well will need to live up to it ;).  Or maybe just have a fun girls day/night out, shopping, bar hopping, nails done, sleepover, lol -- and this is just a peek at my thought process ;p.

Have a nice rest of the week Beautifuls!

Studded sneaks.

Dark brown Brandy Melville floral chiffon dress, Brown Karen Walker Number One sunglasses, Vintage Coach bucket bag, White Converse sneakers DIY studs.

Decided to share one of my fave DIY projects, placing simple studs on the back of my white Converse..think it adds more fun to the stark white sneaker.  This will probably be my typical summer lounge outfit..past Sunday was a nice warm breezy 80 degree day.  Don't you love too when it's still warm at night?? That's when I know it's summertime!
So I am super excited because another Karen Walker addition will be coming to me soon!!  Caved in and got the Super Duper Strength sunnies..they're my favorite shape for sunglasses, round and big -- very Olsen twin-esque.
So thought I'd share with you my random thoughts on my hair..I think I'm going to make a big change this time!  This coming weekend going to head to the salon to get my hair cut in a bob, shoulder length or bit shorter (to leave enough room for curling hair).  Thought it'd be an appropriate time with all these big changes happening! Here's some of my inspiration for short hair on my Pinterest. I'm thinking a cross of Alexa Chung/Olivia Palermo, and really adoring Kiko Mizuhara's hair lately.

Have a lovely week ahead beautifuls! and Happy Tuesday!!

White out.

White Sway peplum top, Tan floral denim shorts via Buffalo Exchange, Brown c/o Swellmayde envelope clutch, Black/brown Zara buckle heels, Jewelry: Ivory c/o Beginning Boutique gold ring, Coach rings, Brandy Melville wishbone bracelet, F21 and vintage bracelets.

When I spotted this pretty peplum beauty from Sway the other day, I knew it was a winner.  I love the sleek lines and classy fit..and not to mention the white crisp color.  Decided to pair it off with floral denim I found at local Buffalo Exchange.  Been searching for a pair of floral denim -- love this one with a neutral hue perfect to go with anything in my closet.  And voila! ..a new addition to my overgrowing shoe collection..these Zara heels were calling my name.  I checked and they said my size was out in the sf store..but luckily the shoe gods were nice and I came back to find these in my exact size waiting for me.

Wanted to apologize for the hiatus lovelies, was trying to soak up this past week I had off before I start full-time in my new job!  It is surreal that I just graduated this past Monday..no longer needing to worry about finals or early morning lectures.  Off to be a working girl!  Hope you lovelies have a sweet week ahead!

♥, Kathleen.
