Sweet stripes.

Light pink c/o Lulus.com striped sheer top, Ivory Forever 21 rhinestone friendship bracelet and pyramid bracelet, Ivory/gold c/o Beginning Boutique bold ruler ring, Light brown Zara wallet clutch, Light blue HM high-waisted jeans, Tan Zara wedges.

Happy Valentine's Day lovelies!  Couldn't think of a better way to celebrate this day of love with a sweet pink outfit :).  This sheer striped top from Lulus.com is such a gorgeous color -- and it's definitely sweet in many ways -- reminds me of a lollipop or candy! :)  The sheer lightweight fabric makes it even more lovely, especially for the Spring sun to come soon..I can't wait for warmth!
Decided to play off the soft colors with my HM high-waisted jeans, with an addition of tying the shirt at the bottom with a bow.  Accessories again are important to make an outfit pop -- added my ivory bracelets from F21 and ivory Beginning Boutique ring reminiscent of YSL.
And of course these Zara wedges will forever be my favorite.

Silver sweets.

Ivory Forever 21 cropped sweater, Silver HM necklace, Light purple Urban Outfitters sheer maxi skirt, Silver c/o Maya Brenner Designs leather tie bracelet, Silver HM bracelet, Brown vintage Coach purse, Black Dolce Vita Jamison boots.

I love how accessories can really make an outfit stand out or give it an interesting edgy twist.  I decided to adorn the light colors of this outfit with silver beauties: 1) being my fave HM necklace (reminiscent of the sun ;p), 2) HM silver bracelet with this gorgeous 3 strand leather tie bracelet beautifully designed by Maya Brenner.  Definitely check out her other aamazing jewelry designs, some that I admire are the California necklace (chance to rep your state) and the Grace bracelet.
I am a big fan of maxi skirts, esp those with a short skirt peeking through sheer fabric.  I wanted to have a casual laidback look therein adding the slouchy sweater.  And kept it classy with my vintage Coach purse :).

à la mode.

Olive Urban Outfitters army jacket, Navy thrifted bow top via Goodwill, Brown c/o álainn bella olive olivia pleated skirt, Ivory vintage Chanel purse, Black Kenneth Cole Reaction flats via Crossroads, Gold c/o LUXLA hex nut bracelet, CC Skye starburst bracelet.

Sometimes it feels good to dress up classy and lady like :) -- which sums up what this outfit means to me.  I am in love with this pleated skirt from álainn bella -- it definitely makes twirling fun while evoking a beautiful classic Audrey Hepburn charm.  Alainn bella is also giving Inspirafashion readers a 15% discount off full priced items at their website, enter 'inspirafashion' at checkout :).
Decided to pair it off with a fun printed bow top thrifted from Goodwill,  á  la Parisian chic.  To make the look more wearable for everyday, layered over everything my Urban Outfitters army jacket.
Accessorizing is a fun sport.  The Chanel purse and Kenneth Cole Reaction flats I thrifted from Crossroads are the perfect icing to top off this outfit.

Bronzed & Sparkled.

Dark blue thrifted L.E.I. jean jacket, Gold HM necklace, Bronze c/o Beginning Boutique dress, Brown vintage Coach purse via Etsy, Tan Aldo booties via Crossroads.

This bronze dress from Beginning Boutique is beyond beautiful, I always love finding dresses that have a unique wow factor -- for this one, it definitely is the lovely criss-cross straps in the back.  Something I also look for in dresses is how versatile/reliable they can be.  For instance, I love dresses with pockets bc u can rely on them to carry your keys, money, etc.  But with this dress, it already comes with a padded bra! -- great for backless-type of dresses.
Decided to pair off this dress with gold accents with my HM necklace, and cutest buckled booties I got a while back at Crossroads.  Lastly, to make this outfit a bit more laidback for everyday wear, wore my comfy thrifted L.E.I. jacket w/ a fun leopard print collar. (I'm all about collars!)

This past weekend was a very eventful one for me -- celebrated my 55 monthsary with the bf (haha yeah, we're corny and love to celebrate every month)..but I love it :).  And on Sunday, tackled and dodged many vicious shoppers to grab Jason Wu x Target pieces which btw I cant wait to share with you!  Then headed to Alameda Antique Faire for more shopping :).
Hope you lovelies are enjoying your start of the week!

The Great Gatsby.

Light blue Forever 21 blouse, Blue c/o Francesca's Collections necklace, Tan Urban Outfitters BDG mid-rise skinny jeans, Dark blue Out of Print The Great Gatsby tote via ModCloth, Tan Steve Madden Grettta heels, Ivory F21 & HM bracelets.

Something I'm very excited about for Spring is colored denim -- these tan denim jeans is a good start to my growing collection.  Am coveting a mint and lilac pair next.  I've noticed too, that once I get hooked on a certain style or aspect of fashion, previously were cropped knit sweaters, I end up buying a lot of it.  Now something new to add to my bad fashion habits.
Decided to wear a fun outfit.  Thought of giving my Great Gatsby tote some love on my blog :)..it's definitely such a cute and unique tote (aand one of my all-time fave books).  Btw, are you excited for the new Great Gatsby movie?? Altho far away, can't wait to see Carey Mulligan as Daisy! :)
Paired off the denim with my Steve Madden heels which are definitely one of my most comfortable heels.  Thought of wearing the F21 blouse with my Francesca's Collections necklace which makes the blouse look even more chic.

I hope you lovelies are doing well!  Can't believe January is over and now onto February!  Which btw, Valentine's Day is almost here!  I'm still thinking up mine..maybe bringing the bf to see a drive-in movie or maybe I'll be creative and make him something, we'll see ;p.  What are your Valentine's Day plans??

P.S. I entered my blog in the Refinery 29 next big style blogger contest.  Would mean so much to me if you could vote for me :).  Vote here:
