Light.

Blue HM floral top, Black maxi skirt thrifted via Wasteland, Black Zara heels.
Pink UO tank, White Forever 21 high-low skirt, Brown Karen Walker Number One sunnies.

Photos by Rosa Nguyen

These photos were taken the last month of being at UC Berkeley, makes me miss the campus so much. My lovely friend Rosa from Chroscenium took these amazing photos, she's so talented -- adore how beautifully she captures the light.  These were photos from a shoot for a Crossroads photo contest she previously entered, and got an honorable mention for, so proud! :)
These pics make me miss my long hair just a tad bit, but I'm still happy about the hair chop ;).
Anyways loves, hope your week's going well, we're half way there to Friday ;), hang in there.  Keep inspiring.
♥,
Kathleen.

Wandering dreamer.

White thrifted lace dress, Navy blue thrifted belt, Turquoise Crossroads ring, Ivory Forever 21 floral ring, Light pink gifted Ozone sheer floral socks, Grey Jeffrey Campbell heels.

Hi Beautifuls!!  Soo, I've really been lusting for mini dresses for Summer..I have a big love for maxis, but seems like I was wearing a lot in the fall and winter..or maybe it's just cause I need more sun on my untanned white legs? lol.  But anyways, I love this lace floral dress I found thrifting, although it is a tad size big, these kind of issues can always be fixed with a simple belt (a favorite accessory I always love to add to an outfit).

For color, I added my favorite Crossroads turquoise stone ring.  To add to the delicate and softness of the look, am wearing my gifted Ozone sheer floral socks (they are seriously amazing bc I never heard of sheer socks with floral designs on them before, and they're oh so pretty!).

All photos are again by Lydia Hudgens and makeup and hair by Rebecca Butz.  It's been a pleasure sharing with you all the photo sets from my photoshoot with them.  I love how Lydia shot these photos in particular, its like she captured myself in a dream I just had..lost and wandering, looking for a mysterious place.  Love how her photos tell a story too.
And it's kind of sad & bittersweet that this is the last set!  But I really hope to collaborate with them again in the future, I'm addicted to their amazing creativity and work ethic..love these girls! :)

This weekend there's a lot going on.  Me and my boyfriend are celebrating our 47 months..yes we're funny dorks that like to celebrate each month ;), but hey we've kept it up for 4 years now!  I also was going to attend the Alameda Antique Faire, but if you were about to go to, just know that it has been rescheduled to next weekend, June 12th!
Also, if you're in the Bay Area this weekend, there's a Rebecca Minkoff sample sale in San Francisco!! on Saturday June 4, 10am-4pm at Madrone Studios. Definitely visit for a chance to score gorgeous Rebecca Minkoff bags for around 40 percent off regular prices!
Again, just want to say thank you so much for all thee sweetest comments ever.  I read all of them with love!  I hope you all will have an AMAZING weekend!  TGIF!  Have fun and enjoy these days off work/school ;).  And aalways, keep inspiring Beautifuls! :)

Hair brooch.

Red thrifted peter pan collar blouse, Black Forever 21 leather shorts, Tan Sam Edelman Valin wedges, Brown gifted DonatilaRose ASOS satchel.
--
Another aaamazing set of photos by the sweetest ever Lydia Hudgens.  And another coooolest hairstyle I've ever had on my head, ever, & makeup by Rebecca Butz.  Teamed up, Lydia and Rebecca's work - maagical. Love them.  Rebecca created this "hair brooch" out of my hair, I was so amazed once I saw the finished product.  Can't believe still it was my real hair she used..even with the bow in the last post :).
Had to share with you this recent find from local Goodwill, yes goodwill!  I was so surprised when I found it too, cutest peter pan collar (reminds me of minnie mouse a bit haha) and wanted to pair it with my black leather shorts.  Also, won this lovely ASOS satchel from DonatilaRose!  Thank you so much girl!  It practically fits everything I need.  Def going to use this next Fall for bringing my laptop around campus.
And of course, the Sam Edelman's that will never leave my feet. I am in love with them, as you can tell :).  Ah, sorry other-shoes-in-my-closet...I'm cheating on you at the moment.

A romantic victorian summer.

Brown c/o ClubCouture dress, White thrifted belt, Turquoise Crossroads ring, Tan Sam Edelman Valin wedges.

I had the amazing opportunity to work with Lydia Hudgens, her work is seriously gorgeous eye candy, and not to mention, she was really so fun to work with.  Eek, love Lydia!
Here is the first post/look with her and it was really such a fun look!  Also had another great opportunity to work with an aamazing hair stylist, Rebecca Butz, I decided I wanted a cute hair bow, reminiscent of Gaga.  I loooved my hair! She did my makeup too, a very soft and sweet look.
Am wearing a really pretty dress from ClubCouture with a victorian influence in the sleeves, love how they have volume at the ends.  I also love how it has this bohemian feel to it with the dark brown colors and the length of the dress.  It can be dressed up with hair in a high bun or dressed down with a cardigan layered on top.
Also! wanted to let you lovelies know, ClubCouture is having a free shipping worldwide (no minimum spend required) promotion on their site.  Shop for really affordable pretty summer dresses! (they have amazing minis for summer!) :)

Sneak peek of Photoshoot and Giveaway Winner!

Sneak peek of a Photoshoot for a Future Blog "Trendy Rose," details to come :).

First off, I really want to apologize for my absence.  This week as you know in a previous post, I had a midterm on Tuesday, so the whole last weekend was spent studying up until then.  And throughout the week, my new job has been having a big toll on me -- the stress levels are increasing rapidly lol.  But besides that I am really really going to try and juggle/balance things better.

Now lets get to exciting updates I have for you stylish lovelies ;).

The picture above is a sneak peek of a photoshoot I recently modeled for!  It has a Winter theme and basically we were able to bring our own outfits and styles into it.  So just had to wear my whole outfit I wore previously as a prelude to winter hehe.  I will definitely let you know more details on what blog this will be on and of course some more pictures of the shoot! :).  But definitely want to give credit and a biigg shoutout to the lovely & beautiful photographer - Rose Silvestre of Ember and Roses Blog and you can also find her on Chictopia :).  Really recommend visiting her site for amazing photography, she is super talented :).

And lastly (save the best for last!), the In Celebration of 100+ Followers GIVEAWAY WINNER!!
I want to say thank you so much for all who participated, it meant a lot to me!  And of course it was in appreciation for all of you :).  Your responses to my question of who is your inspiration for fashion were amaazing and a joy to read :).  The giveaway winner was selected based on the Generator.

Congratulations to......Rebecca of See You In Sweden!
Here is her response to the question of who is gives you inspiration for fashion?
"My ultimate inspiration would be Olivia Palermo. I love anything that's simple and classic and she does this to perfection. She can also wear high street and make it look expensive :)"
Hope you enjoy your accessories that will be shipped out soooon! :)

And again want to really thank you all for your support, I seriously appreciate all the love :).  And def will return all your comments most likely tomorrow night! :).  And as always stay gorgeous and inspirationally beautiful. <3
