Took advantage once again of this beautiful sunny weather, more of basked in the sun haha.  This dress from Beginning Boutique sums up the perfect combination of all things beautiful, lace, bow, and pretty silhouette. Decided to add to the sweetness with my CandP floral headband; a la Lana Del Rey ;). To toughen up the look, added my vintage Levis jean vest and buckle heels.  Always find my style reflects some type of irony..voila, edgy and girly.

Currently, commuting to work on BART, I naturally fell in love with w/ this new iphone app: spotify, I have so many playlists now! Random fun fact? I'm a movie and music fanatic.

Sweet Penny Lane.

Morning Beautifuls!  I wanted to share with you a tiny sneak-peek of our apartment slowly coming together..one of the pieces I really admire in our apartment is this vintage sofa my roomie, Kaylie, found at an antique store.  Its still in really great condition and the soft ivory color and floral print is delicately beautiful.  The vintage piece complemented so well the beyond beautiful Casper&Pearl dress I received in the mail.  I am aalways in love w/ C&P pieces, they really are meant to have fun and twirl around in, ie. the last photo :p.  I love how the designer, Stacey, uses vintage fabric and comes up w/ an amazing dress everytime -- she really succeeds in bringing out the little sweet girl in me.

I'm going to the Alameda Antiques Faire today w/ the bf.  I'm on a hunt for more unique pretty vintage houseware pieces to add to our apartment; I hope to score: cup coasters, jewelry holders, maybe even a bed-side table.  The roomie and I are super obsessed with white/ivory furniture, leaving no room for bright colors lol..but, hopefully I'll find something..also contemplating of doing some apartment-DIY posts later on! :) 

Anyways, how have you lovelies been??  Right now I'm learning how to handle stress in the best way possible..the quote "Keep calm and carry on," really is true for me :p.  Aand, staying positive keeps me going.  I hope you're having a relaxing and fun weekend!  Btw, Happy October Beautifuls!  Keep inspiring (your posts aaamaze me everytime.)

Sunlight romance.

Dark red casper&pearl floral headband, Black gifted Vedette Shapewear Marian lace body suit, Burgundy American Apparel corduroy skirt, Ivory vintage Chanel bag, F21 gold ring, Tawny Jeffrey Campbell clog wedges.

I never thought about wearing lingerie in my casual everyday outfits, but Vedette Shapewear inspired me to think differently.  Their collection of amazing lingerie including body suits are gorgeous with the most durable and body hugging material.  It really felt like a glove putting it on and in addition hid unwanted fat -- I know I am a tad bit small but I do have my own problem areas too :P lol.  I fell in love with this piece especially with the floral lace part on top.  It's perfect for summer as well with a skinny strap on one side -- definitely going to tuck it in some high-waisted shorts later on! :)

For the outfit, it was a challenge for me to think of how to wear lingerie in an everyday look, so decided to make a romantic outfit with my faavorite floral headband by casper&pearl, AA circle corduroy skirt.  Added my Chanel vintage bag and my JC clog wedges for a summer vibe.

And random note, oh my g..the weather has changed DRASTICALLY ever since these past weeks, finally i can say summer is here!  Almost 80 degrees today.  How I've missed you Sun!! (cough, and my legs have too..they need a tan lol).

How have you lovelies been??  This past weekend was crazy busy!  My younger brother Alec just graduated from high school on Saturday!  Along with my younger cousin too.  So funny, when they called their names, had to stand extra long -- they announced their names one after the other.  I brought along with me a big sign saying "Congrats Grad! So proud of you little brother."  Stuck a baby pic of me & him on it.  Sigh, little siblings grow up just WAY too fast before my eyes.  Gets me all sentimental and happily sad :P.

Which btw, CONGRATS to all you recent grads!!!  :)
