Falling for floral.

Dark yellow Theory sweater, Brown c/o Hobo Bags crossbody purse, Grey c/o Others Follow floral jeans, Nude Zara heels.

I rarely wear jeans (haha if you haven't noticed), but I was drawn to the beautiful floral print on these grey jeans from Others Follow.  They designed such a gorgeous pair with muted neutral colors, perfect for Fall.  I decided with the cold weather coming, to pair it with my knit sweater, a pretty mustard yellow color.  To keep it a bit casual, I accessorized with my trusty crossbody from Hobo Bags.  To elongate the silhouette, pairing nude heels does the trick.  These ones from Zara are my favorite because they have this asymmetrical shape.

September is leaving us soon, and October will be here before we know it.  Time just flew by again. I find that's a recurring theme, maybe because I'm getting older and noticing things more.  With that said, I hope you lovelies have a great weekend ahead! Soak up the free time. Enjoy the sun the bay area is getting, and have a chillax weekend :).

A floral afternoon.

This is the epitome of embracing the beautiful Spring season -- pretty flowers all around and the warm sun.  I cannot wait for more days like this.  This dress in particular is gorgeous with the cut-outs from LuLu*s; aand they named it perfectly "Afternoon In The Park."
In addition to what compliments this dress with great contrast are these beautiful Steve Madden Rebuttle heels.  These sandal heels are so perfect for spring and summer, I can't wait to wear them more often.  Something that caught my eye as well was the metallic gold heel (amazingg).
I had the pleasure of shooting with one of my good friends, we go way back from our high school days, Matthew Liu (see more of his sweet photography here), I love how he shot this look with warm tones.  We visited for the first time at Berkeley Botanic Gardens -- which btw, if you've never been, please go! It's amazing with such pretty scenery and flowers all over.

This week went relatively fast -- I love how time flies, which means I'm having some type of fun ;).  I attended a recent Macy's spring fashion event, and did something major by attending an info session for the UC Berkeley Haas MBA program (I'm planning on going back to school soon!), and here and there catching up with friends over dinner.

Happy Friday beautifuls!! Enjoy your weekend!

Floral glam.

Head to toe c/o Charlotte Russe: Black bodycon dress (similar here, another fave here), Black/silver necklace (similar style here), Grey floral wallet/wristlet (love this style here), Tan patent suede platform heels (similar here).

Second part to the outfit series with Charlotte Russe, they seriously have an amazing collection of dresses -- perfect for a girls night out.  This second outfit was styled as an edgy party glam look.  Again, featuring photography by amazing Ryan Chua.  I love this dress because it not only includes a cool floral pattern but also mesh top with polka dots.  I decided to overlay it with this pretty black/silver necklace and accessorized with a cute floral grey wristlet (night out is never complete without one to hold your phone, ID, essentials).  To top it off, added for extra height these pretty patent suede heels.

How have you lovelies been? This week has been another cray one, or more of I'm so tired easily nowadays! As in I'm getting old and sleeping fairly early, and daylight saving time this Sunday does not help! This week heading to a Passion Pit concert, collaborating on a fun project this weekend, and might have a girls night out (may take this dress out) ;).
Keep inspiring lovelies, have an amazing rest of your week!

Lovely lace.

Head to toe c/o Charlotte Russe: Ivory lace top (similar here), Arm candy: pink and gold bracelets, Light pink black floral skater skirt, Taupe suede heels (similar here).

Photography by Ryan Chua

I had the pleasure of collaborating with such a fun and lovely brand, Charlotte Russe, in a two part series -- the first here, a girly sweet outfit, shot by super talented and sweetest ever, Ryan Chua.  I decided for a flirty fun outfit, a staple piece would be the skater skirt.  I found this amazing floral burnout skirt with a pretty light pink fabric peeking through underneath. To add to the sweetness factor, tucked in a lace top.  For accessories, I had fun mixing pink and golds with this cute 'love' bracelet.  And for shoes, added these gorgeous suede patent mixed heels.

I hope you lovelies have been doing well!  I've seriously missed you all, again apologize about the hiatus, this month has been crazy busy, so much has happened! In addition to work keeping me busy, I was able to have two nice mini vacations, first LA then following Texas.  Visit my Instagram for all the photos, but to sum it up here are a few snapshots:
Btw, cannot believe it's already March!  Where did time fly?!  I still remember celebrating the New Year.  Well, I guess what they say is right -- time flies, when you're having fun ;).  Have an amazing weekend ahead Beautifuls!  TGIF and Happy Friday!!!
Keep inspiring :).

Sweet Penny Lane.

White c/o Casper&Pearl "Penny Lane" floral lace dress, Silver F21 accessories, Ivory vintage Chanel purse, Tan ASOS suede ankle boots.
Morning Beautifuls!  I wanted to share with you a tiny sneak-peek of our apartment slowly coming together..one of the pieces I really admire in our apartment is this vintage sofa my roomie, Kaylie, found at an antique store.  Its still in really great condition and the soft ivory color and floral print is delicately beautiful.  The vintage piece complemented so well the beyond beautiful Casper&Pearl dress I received in the mail.  I am aalways in love w/ C&P pieces, they really are meant to have fun and twirl around in, ie. the last photo :p.  I love how the designer, Stacey, uses vintage fabric and comes up w/ an amazing dress everytime -- she really succeeds in bringing out the little sweet girl in me.
--
I'm going to the Alameda Antiques Faire today w/ the bf.  I'm on a hunt for more unique pretty vintage houseware pieces to add to our apartment; I hope to score: cup coasters, jewelry holders, maybe even a bed-side table.  The roomie and I are super obsessed with white/ivory furniture, leaving no room for bright colors lol..but, hopefully I'll find something..also contemplating of doing some apartment-DIY posts later on! :)
Anyways, how have you lovelies been??  Right now I'm learning how to handle stress in the best way possible..the quote "Keep calm and carry on," really is true for me :p.  Aand, staying positive keeps me going.  I hope you're having a relaxing and fun weekend!  Btw, Happy October Beautifuls!  Keep inspiring (your posts aaamaze me everytime.)

Blush velvet.

Blush H&M blazer, Black/pink c/o Hardcouture floral noir bloomers, White Shopjoellenlove crochet top, Tan Forever 21 suede wedges, Silver ebay chain ring/bracelet.

So I just noticed when putting this outfit together, these pieces came from some of my fave blogger girls and their own online boutiques/shops separately, Kristine of Hardcouture and Joellen of Joellenlove, who happen to be really great friends too.  Yes, ironically or subliminally I paired their two pieces together :).  But newhoo, I seriously lovelove the goodies Kristine my sponsor sent me last weekend!  I instantly fell in love with every piece, but these floral noir bloomers are SO lovely -- what I love most about it though is the velvet soft fabric.  This definitely is a great summer outfit along with the loose crochet top.  Paired it off with my fave H&M blazer and comfy F21 wedges.
Also, first time in a while on my blog since I've had my hair up, and this time I attempted the fishtail braid!  I learned it from some trusty youtube videos and voila.

And I haven't really worn out this chain/ring bracelet I got from ebay a while back, but it definitely is one of my favorite jewelry pieces because it's so unique especially with the matching heart ring and bracelet.  At the moment, I'm really into unique, raw, and edgy types of jewelry.  A recent jewelry designer I found while browsing through fashion blogs, was Pamela Love.  Her designs are goorgeous, and I love how she gets inspiration from nature and science including traveling and different cultures.
A dream of mine is to definitely travel the world once I graduate from Cal, and along the way, start making my own collection of jewelry pieces I pick up in different places.  First stop I've always craved to visit..Paris!  Gotta start saving now haha.  Hm, but maybe before Paris, New York? :)

Thank you again lovelies for your sweetest comments!  In appreciation for all of you my readers, I'm having a personal giveaway for you all!  It was in a recent post, definitely be sure to enter! :)  Hope your weeks are off to a great start!  Now off to get some definite inspiration from your lovely blogs!! :)
