Seasonal fashion metamorphosis.


If I had the perfect way to transition from summer into fall, this outfit would sum up a perfect seasonal fashion metamorphosis.  I love how I can mix in the Karen Walker sunglasses and Topshop denim hotpants perfect for summer but still have warmth and comfort for fall with the 3.1 Phillip Lim cable knit sweater and most coveted Isabel Marant Dicker boots.  The Alexander Wang Diego bucket bag is just perfect for any season, especially with the white crisp leather adorned with mesmerizing silver studs -- two colors that can go with pretty much anything.
For this transitional look, I kept the colors more towards fall, but with soft muted tones to not overpower the delightful bright summer season.

August 1st is just around the corner and decided what better way than to make a post to welcome Fall 2011 :).  Enjoy these inspirational photos I've gathered to help inspire you to slowly get back in those sweaters, boots, and layers this fall.

    Love your inspirational photos. I've been thinking about obtaining transitional pieces from summer to fall, especially pieces that will work for school. So far, I've been itching to get rugged ankle boots and menswear pieces. Also, I think the Phillip Lim sweater is fab. It looks so comfy.
