Mesh and sheer goodness + OOTD #2 Vlog Post!

Dark blue thrifted American Apparel mesh blouse, Black thrifted hat, Light blue Urban Outfitters distressed denim shorts, Brown thrifted belt, White Goodwill vinyl bag, Brown Threadsence boots.

Lately I've been gravitating toward sheer fabrics -- be it with blouses, maxi skirts, tops, etc.  I just fell in love with this kind of fabric upon seeing it blow up in throughout the blogosphere, and upon seeing it in many stores lately.  
I found this mesh sheer blouse at Wasteland during my shopping trip at Haight, and couldn't believe I found, yet again, another American Apparel piece, for HALF OFF..gotta love those thrift finds!  I feel like this outfit really sums up of what my "go-to outfit" consists of:  sheer tights, high waisted-anything (mainly jean shorts), a tucked in long-sleeved blouse, a pair of boots, and a nice thrifted bag -- I'm GOOD to go!!  
Oo and not to mention, my new found love -- HATS.  I think I will use this straw boater hat to death (sadly), but I hope it doesn't break on me!  It's one of the few good hats that flatter my small head shape haha, among my UO floppy hat :).

Hope you lovelies are having an amazing week so far!  I have TWO miderms down, ONE midterm, HW assignments, and ONE paper to-go!..before Spring Break!!  (GUESS WHAT?  Remember the Trendy Rose  Spring Lookbook I was telling you about a while back I'm going to style and model for?..well it's fast approaching!..during Spring Break! Caaannot wait & I will update you with many details to come) :).

    This outfit is perfect! I'm in love with the sheer blouse. You styled it wonderfully. Great video! You have such a cute voice. AND YESSS, SPRING BREAK. I just finished my last midterm and I should feel relieved, but there's still all sorts of knots in my stomach! Oh well. It's right around the corner! Good luck.

    haha, your posts have done that to me a few times! here i am just browsing and then before i know it, i had just gone shopping! this is a great look, basic pieces done very chic! i actually just thrifted a sheer blouse very similar but a diff color...thanks for the styling idea! ;)

    I love finding AA at thrift stores - I can't justify spending that much on basics sometimes. And the music you use in your video is really cute! It kind of matches you haha
